I'm Juan, though my friends know me as Juanxo. I'm a 3D Environment & Props Artist, focused in atmospheric scenes and inorganic assets for video games.
I’m passionate about creating immersive environments with strong visual storytelling: from abandoned streets and mysterious corners to detailed Japanese-inspired scenes full of atmosphere and intricate details.
I handle the full pipeline: modeling in 3ds Max, UV mapping, PBR texturing in Substance Painter, and assembly with lighting in Unreal Engine 5 (Nanite, Lumen, and RTX).
Over the past years, I’ve worked on VR experiences and game environments, creating highly optimized assets (low-poly with high visual fidelity) and developing procedural materials and smart materials.
My favorite pieces blend realism with stylized touches, especially abandoned environments, detailed props, and spaces that evoke emotion and personality.
Currently, I’m updating my portfolio with new projects focused on compact environments and game-ready props.
